Back Pain & Spinal Conditions

Orthopedic Associates of Middletown has a Board certified Physiatrist, Dr. Arpad Fejos, and one Physician Assistant (PA) who specialize in treating back and neck conditions with non surgical medical management of conditions such as spinal stenosis, herniated discs and arthritis of the spine. Dr. Alfred Hicks, our spine surgeon at Orthopedic Associates of Middletown, specializes in minimally invasive & traditional neck, spine & back surgery. Hand and Upper Extremities

Dr. Ryan Naujoks is Orthopedic Associates of Middletown’s fellowship trained hand and upper extremity specialist. He specializes in degenerative, traumatic, and over use injuries to the hand wrist and elbow such as carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, tendon and nerve injuries and fracture care. He also offers non surgical percutaneus and injection treatment available for Dupuytren’s contractures. Dr. Terry Reardon and Dr. Thomas Larson also treat many of the upper extremity injuries and conditions as well.

All of Orthopedic Associates of Middletown’s Board Certified Orthopedic surgeons treat osteoarthritis with the latest medical, injection therapy and surgical techniques. We have an on site x-ray available to monitor your healing as well as certified medical assistants and brace specialists to fit you with your cast, brace or custom made splint should you not need surgery to fix your broken bone.

Work Injury / Workers' Compensation Rehabilitation

Our Orthopedic surgeons and Physiatry team recognize the importance of getting back to work as quickly and as safely as possible. Our team has the specialist and the therapist you need available to treat your work injury as quickly as possible after it happens on the job. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examines bones, joints, and soft tissues – cartilage, muscles, tendons. Installed in 2022, this imaging service allows our physicians to develop a comprehensive treatment or rehabilitation action plan with one goal in mind – returning mobility function after an injury or surgery.
