Update on COVID-19
Posted On: March 11, 2020
To our patients:
Our patient’s health and safety is of utmost importance to us. In light of recent events taking place globally and locally regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), our team would like to advise everyone on basic precautions that should be taken in addition to those set forth by the CDC.
All 5 office locations will remain open for business with added sanitization protocol to our already high standards of safety.
For now, we ask all of you for your compliance in keeping everyone healthy and safe. If you have any of the following symptoms, please call and reschedule your appointment:
Fever
Runny nose
Cough
Shortness of breath
Flu-like symptoms
We will waive the 24-hour window of notice typically required for appointment cancellations and reschedules. If you arrive for your scheduled appointment and you are visibly symptomatic, Orthopedic Associates of Middletown reserves the right to refuse treatment and reschedule you for a later date in order to protect other clients, our staff, and your own wellbeing.
Additionally, if your children are home due to a quarantined school closing or a sickness, please do not bring them with you to your appointment.
Thank you in advance for your compliance. We hope everyone stays safe and healthy through the upcoming weeks!
